China News Service, Beijing, May 21 (Reporter Chen Hang) Liu Xiaofeng, deputy director of the Beijing Center for Disease Control and Prevention, said at a press conference on the prevention and control of the new crown pneumonia epidemic in Beijing held on the 21st that from 0:00 to 15:00 on May 21 , Beijing added 33 new cases of local new coronary pneumonia virus infection.
Since the press conference on May 20 (from 15:00 on May 20 to 15:00 on May 21), 63 new cases of local new coronary pneumonia virus infection (1475 to 1537 infected), 40 cases in Fengtai District, Haidian District, Fangshan District 7 cases each, 4 cases in Chaoyang District, 2 cases in Shijingshan District, 1 case each in Changping District, Dongcheng District, and Daxing District; 7 cases of common type, 44 cases of mild type, and 12 cases of asymptomatic infection; 56 cases of control personnel, social screening 7 cases were investigated; 58 of them were related to the recent cluster epidemic.
All have been transferred to designated hospitals for isolation and treatment, and relevant risk points and personnel have been placed under control.
