Recently, the Zhao’an Workstation of Zhangzhou Coast Guard Bureau in Fujian successfully rescued a speedboat that lost power at sea.

At 19:30 that night, the station received the 95110 alarm platform, saying that the speedboat driven by a man was trapped at sea due to exhaustion of fuel and lost power in the waters near the middle line of the border between Fujian and Guangdong, and requested the police to be rescued.

After receiving the alarm, the station immediately activated the marine emergency rescue mechanism, and quickly dispatched law enforcement ships to the sea area where the incident occurred to help the trapped man.

As the sky was getting dark at that time and the visibility of the sea was low, the marine police officers used radar detection and strong lights to carefully search the sea while using the phone to appease the trapped man.

After more than 20 minutes of hard searching, marine police officers finally found the trapped man and the speedboat.

At this time, the sea was high tide, and the speedboat was swaying greatly and continuously by the impact of the waves. The situation was very urgent.

Coast Guard law enforcement officers immediately drove the boat close to the trapped speedboat and fixed it with a cable to prevent friction and collision during the towing process.

After more than 10 minutes of intense rescue, the coast police officers successfully transferred the trapped man and the speedboat to the shore.

At present, the man is emotionally stable and his physical signs are good.

It is reported that the trapped man is a native of Zhao'an. He sailed to the sea by boat that night. Unexpectedly, he was trapped at sea because the speedboat ran out of fuel. In a desperate situation, he called 95110 for help.

In this regard, the Zhangzhou Coast Guard reminded the majority of fishermen to conduct a comprehensive safety inspection of the ship before going out to sea, and eliminate hidden troubles in time.

In case of danger, please promptly call 95110 marine police for assistance.
