“The TikTok Short Film Festival now recognizes the independence and sovereignty of the jury,” Rithy Panh tweeted, announcing his return to his duties as president of this jury.
The filmmaker had declared Thursday evening to resign in the face of "pressure" from the social network, accusing him of not leaving him enough "freedom".

This Cannes Film Festival ceremony will reward three ultra-short videos (from 30 seconds to 3 minutes) by filmmakers from all over the world, a first, TikTok being official partner for this 75th edition.
