Revealing maternity wear is over for the time being: Rihanna has become a mother.
As the Internet portal TMZ reported on Thursday, the singer gave birth to a son on May 13 in Los Angeles.
It's the first child for the 34-year-old, as is her partner A$AP Rocky ("Everyday").
After years of friendship, Rihanna and the rapper also became romantically close two years ago.
In January, the Grammy-winning actress (“Umbrella”) surprised fans again when she posed for a picture with a pregnant belly in New York.
As she admitted at the time, the offspring was not planned.
For the past few months, Rihanna has been showing fans that maternity wear doesn't have to be baggy.
Even with a full belly, the Barbadian singer didn't want to go without silver bikini tops, strands of pearls and fishnet shirts.
"I hope we can redefine what 'decent' means for pregnant women," Rihanna said in an interview.
“My body is doing incredible things right now.
And I'm not ashamed of that."
