'Old House Noodles', which President Yoon visited with his aides around noon that day, is a long-established store that has been operating for nearly 40 years in the back alley of Samgakji, Yongsan-gu, Seoul.

This restaurant is famous for its heart-warming anecdote, which is as heart-stopping as the warm and hearty noodles, which are noodles rolled in noodles in a savory anchovy broth cooked over a charcoal fire.

At about 6 am in the cold winter of 1998, right after the Asian financial crisis, a man in his 40s, dressed in shabby clothes, came into the restaurant.

At that time, the store owner, Bae Hye-ja, said that she knew at once that he was homeless.

Her tummy grandmother gave him a bowl of noodles she simmered in hearty soup, and the man frantically stuffed his stomach.

As the bowl emptied, her grandmother took her bowl and rolled up her noodles again.

His stomach was full, but he couldn't afford to pay for the noodles, so the man who only glanced around at the old woman ran out of her shop while her grandmother was looking for a moment.

At that time, the words of the old woman Bae who followed up to the front door of the store and shouted at him as he ran away made the man cry.

"Don't run even if you don't have money! Get hurt. Just walk. Come back next time when you're hungry."

This story became known to the world 10 years after that, when a letter arrived to a PD of a broadcasting station.

The main character of the letter was then a homeless man who ate noodles and ran away.

The man's story was as follows.

It is said that at the time, he was deceived and lost all of his fortune and left his family in a dire situation.

The man, who had been living as a homeless man, begged for food at every restaurant near Yongsan Station, but when no one accepted it, he became poisoned and even thought of setting a fire with oil.

The last place he visited with such vindictiveness was his grandmother Bae's noodle shop.

He was the one who ate the noodles and ran away, but he said, "Don't run. Don't get hurt."

It is said that he gained hope again with a single word and later moved to Paraguay and established himself as a business owner.

There, he accidentally saw her grandmother's restaurant that appeared on the air and contacted the broadcasting station. He said, "The owner grandmother is the one who gave me the hope and courage of her life, who resented the world."

When this story became known and the restaurant became famous, Grandma Bae said, "I received an undeserved heart for giving a hungry person a few bowls of noodles."

Then, Grandma Bae said, "I didn't want to get money anyway, but I didn't look back and ran."
