At the rose garden in Wake Town, Okayama Prefecture, colorful roses are in full bloom, entertaining visitors.

The roses are in full bloom in the rose garden in front of the Morioka Yuyu House, a town-run facility in the Hikasa district of Wake Town.

The rose garden was developed 18 years ago by locals in an attempt to evoke a lively atmosphere in the area, and about 140 varieties of roses are planted in the 420-square-meter garden.

Of these, the arch, which is about 2.5 meters high, has four types of vine roses, such as the yellow "Evergold" and the red "Sarabande", blooming in a competitive manner.

Also, as the name suggests, the rose of the "Chocolate Prince" variety is characterized by its brown petals like chocolate.

A woman from Okayama said, "I'm wearing a mask, but it smells very good. It makes me feel graceful."

The rose garden holds a rose festival to coincide with the flowering, and you can visit it until the 29th of this month.
