An 800-bed makeshift hospital will be rebuilt within 48 hours in Guang'an, Sichuan

  The reporter learned from the Guang'an Epidemic Prevention and Control Press Conference held at noon today (19th) that the Guang'an Emergency Headquarters decided to start construction on May 19th. It will take 48 hours to convert Huatai Hospital into a makeshift hospital with about 100,000 beds. 800 pieces, and make every effort to ensure that all patients with the new coronavirus are admitted and treated.

  According to the principles of centralized patients, centralized experts, centralized resources and centralized treatment, Guang'an City closed-loop transfer all confirmed cases and asymptomatic infected persons to designated hospitals and Fangcang shelter hospitals for isolation observation and treatment.

There are 87 medical staff in the isolation wards of designated hospitals and 210 medical staff in makeshift hospitals.

At present, all patients are treated with a combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine to comprehensively improve the effect of medical treatment.
