People's passion for being at the forefront of social media platforms has turned into an obsession that leads its owners to strange extremist ideas.

ABC News published a video that sparked controversy for two newlyweds who decided to set themselves on fire when the wedding was over.

The video clip has garnered more than 15 million, and shows the couple confidently standing next to each other and holding their hands before one of them lights the bride's flowers and the fire automatically goes to her dress and the groom's suit. They bowed and the fire, which intensified at the last moment, was put out.

Comments were pouring out on the video, which garnered more than 2.8 million likes, with one viewer writing: "Their wedding will be in the top 10 forever," and another person wrote: "Imagine if the camera wasn't working in those moments."
