If you fall, I fall.

There you go, the always delicious test of linked destinies delivered its verdict in

Koh-Lanta

, Tuesday evening on TF1.

In a long-awaited reversal of the situation, two members of the majority alliance are leaving.

Louana and Maxime paid the price for a failed immunity test and a daring but also failed strategy to escape elimination.

The dispersion of voices and the reversal of jackets will have got the better of the ex-alliance of the ex-Reds.

Bitterness and resignation mingle in the voices of Louana and Maxime whom

20 Minutes

was able to question, separately, but with the same questions, a few hours before the broadcast of the episode.

Who says linked destinies says cross interview...

In what state of mind are you today, when viewers discover your elimination?

Louana

: I don't at all want to relive that moment… I'm really apprehensive about that because it wasn't a cakewalk.

Maxime

: There are other episodes that I feared more, like the jugs… There, I know what to expect and I'm pretty calm.

But maybe at the moment it might be harder than I think...

How did you feel when you were eliminated?

Did you see it coming?

Louana

: I'm really disgusted and disappointed because I saw myself going further than that.

The frustration also comes from the fact that it is an elimination that is not only because of me… But as soon as I knew that I was in pairs with Maxime, I understood that it was over for us .

Before this episode, I did not feel at all in danger, I had my place with the Reds, I had assured the ambassadors as head of the Reds, we had Nicolas as a secret agent, we were almost sure to go until the end together...

Maxime

: For the first time, I had no idea what to expect with this advice.

On the other councils where I was threatened I knew exactly how many votes I would have against me.

There, no… So it was a shock.

When I learned that I was with Louana I told myself that the tests would be very important.

And then I tried a strategy to have my destiny in my hands, to be an actor.

I couldn't stay still being in the hot seat, that had to change, it was now or never to try something.

What got stuck was that Géraldine and Fouzi didn't want to follow me...

Did it take you long to get over it?

Louana

: It took me a little time to digest the bitterness of my elimination, I would have liked to go further… There are things that I had trouble digesting but today I'm fine.

Maxime

: We spent long hours with Louana analyzing all that… She took it with a lot of philosophy, without resentment, with a little incomprehension but also a lot of distance.

She helped me a lot because for me it was difficult.

I needed to put things flat with certain candidates to understand, to digest.

Do you apprehend the final and the reunion with the other adventurers?

Louana

: The reunion, no, not at all.

There is no animosity between us, we have remained very united, we do weekends together.

On the other hand, the end clap, it will be weird.

Since the first castings, filming, broadcasting… this adventure has been going on for more than a year.

When it's over, I don't know what I'm going to do with my Tuesday nights...

Maxime

: We had the opportunity to tell each other everything we had to say between candidates so I can't wait to experience the outcome, I can't wait.

What would you change to your adventure if you had to do it again?

Louana

: I would not shoot the ball that sends me with Maxime!

(laughs).

Otherwise, everything is fine with me.

I am happy and proud of my adventure, of my three individual victories.

I was an ambassador, I was a chef.

I assumed and I ensured.

I clearly stood out anyway!

I would not have liked to be transparent because I am an adventurer at heart.

Maxime

: If I had to do it over again, I'd spend more time… talking about food.

The other candidates talked all the time among themselves about what they were going to eat after the shooting.

Me, not necessarily… However, this kind of discussion, it helps to integrate into a group.

What do you remember from the adventure and what would you like viewers to remember?

Louana

: I'm quite happy with my image on the show, it conveys the reality of who I am.

This show allowed me to know where I was psychologically and physically.

It also allowed me to change my rhythm of life.

I'm self-employed, so if I don't want to work for a day, I don't work.

After

Koh-Lanta

, I took a step back, time for myself...

Maxime

: I haven't gone to read what people say about me on the networks, but the people who recognize me on the street are always nice, so that suits me… There is a moment that sums up the positive aspect of this adventure.

In the first event with the Blues, when we win with Samira, I immediately bring the totem back to the team.

It's a great moment because, by doing

Koh-Lanta

, I really wanted to be part of a team, to be a driving force without crushing anyone, that everyone has their place.

What was the hardest part, apart from the elimination?

Louana

: Hunger was hard to manage there.

Having a lump in your stomach every night... There, the mind takes over.

We can't understand if we haven't lived it...

Maxime

: The hardest thing is when I go to see the pole event and I won't be there.

That's what my adventure will miss.
