Fukuoka Prefecture announced on the 16th that it was confirmed that 1209 new people were infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
It has fallen below the same day of the previous week for three consecutive days.
The breakdown is 312 in Fukuoka City, 144 in Kitakyushu City, and 96 in Kurume City.
Meanwhile, one person announced as infected on the 12th of this month was withdrawn.
The number of confirmed infections in Fukuoka Prefecture has exceeded 400,000, bringing the total to 400,000.
