After two limited editions due to the Covid-19 pandemic, TF1's big annual show "The song of the year" returns and settles at Mourillon beach in Toulon.

New song selection criteria
As for the song selection criteria, there will be new features.
The selection has been narrowed down from around thirty to only twenty titles.

According to the average number of radio passages of the pieces in the year.
Once the titles have been chosen, the artists who will not be available for the evening will be eliminated.
