This is why Alain Nkontchou, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ecobank is the Great Guest of the Economy RFI – Jeune Afrique.
Interviewed by Bruno Faure (RFI) and Julien Clémençot (Jeune Afrique), this Cameroonian financier based in London answers the many essential questions of the moment: inflation, food prices, public debts, positioning of banks in the financing of African economies, cryptocurrencies , cybersecurity, etc.

He also extensively discusses the news of the pan-African group Ecobank, present in 33 countries on the continent with more than 20,000 employees, a net income of 1.8 billion dollars in 2021 and a pre-tax profit of 478 million dollars.
Alain Nkontchou, 59, was born in Yaoundé (Cameroon).
Trained in France (at Supelec then at the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris), he led the first part of your career in Europe, notably in London, within JP Morgan and Crédit Suisse.
In 2008, he created Enko Capital, an investment company dedicated to Africa which manages more than 900 million dollars in assets.
