The course invites Wang Jianqi, an expert on murals from Shaanxi History Museum, to lead the lecture, and select representative tomb murals of the Tang Dynasty such as the tomb of Prince Yide, Prince Zhanghuai, Princess Yongtai, and Tomb of Han Xiu unearthed in Shaanxi. He teaches the art of painting murals, teaches the culture of murals, improves the aesthetic ability through artistic practice, and strengthens the awareness of cultural heritage protection and inheritance.
"I have been a volunteer at the Shaanxi History Museum since 2018. I am very interested in ancient murals and mural art and have a certain understanding, but this course has taught me more." At present, the works exhibition of teachers and students of "Classic of the Prosperous Age: Danqing on the Wall" and "Mural Art Workshop" is on display at the school.
