It is understood that the 50-meter-long washing garage is equipped with 7 sets of side brushes, 1 set of top brushes, and 13 sets of water spray pipes. There are 4 sensors at both ends and in the middle of the garage. When the train passes through the detection sensing area, the brushes and The sprinkler will enter the smart working mode.

Tian Shici, deputy director of the maintenance workshop of Wuhan Metro Line 5, introduced that after the yard dispatcher adjusted the passage, the train Driving to the "bathhouse", during the car washing process, the train "washes while walking" at a speed of 3 kilometers per hour. The whole process takes 5 minutes. After the "bath", the train can also change tracks and return to the warehouse by itself.

　　According to Yu Qiang, the operator of the "bathhouse", the brushes used for washing the car are soft and will not scratch the "skin" of the train, and the installation angle and distance are "tailor-made" according to the car body to ensure proper cleaning.

Not only that, about 80% of the wastewater after washing the train can be recycled after being collected and treated, achieving a "win-win" of reducing pollution and saving water.
