Municipal police patrols in Gonesse (Val-d'Oise) will be geolocated in real time from Thursday.

For this, a transmitter will be installed on their radios.

Their trajectories will be broadcast on an interactive map projected in the video surveillance center, explains

An alert button in case of danger

Thanks to this new device, the supervision center will be able to guide the agents in the field.

The new radios will also be equipped with an alert button in the event of danger, which will allow immediate dispatch of reinforcements.

This equipment cost nearly 10,000 euros, according to information from our colleagues.

The objective for the municipality is above all to optimize the response times and to communicate on the action of its agents to the inhabitants to reassure them.

The arrival of the device is very well received by all the players.

These radios have already been set up in several cities in the territory, such as Nogent-sur-Oise in Oise or Nice in the Alpes-Maritimes.
