It is now about 50 days before the new SAR government takes office. She and the current SAR government will definitely do a good job of handover work.

She said that in addition to the establishment of the chief executive-designate's office and the allocation of manpower and resources, there are at least the following items for the handover.

  First, from now until June 30, or in a few more months, there are some matters that need the attention of the Chief Executive. The SAR Government has sent the information submitted by the Department of Justice and various policy bureaus to the Chief Executive-elect on the 9th. handed over to the Office of the Chief Executive-designate and will be more than happy to provide further information.

  Second, the details of the government restructuring plan were announced in January. After the sixth-term Chief Executive-elect agrees, the current government will seek the support of the Legislative Council.

  Third, the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong SAR and the inauguration of the new SAR government.

  Carrie Lam said that the government restructuring plan involves legal amendments, which must be discussed and approved by the Executive Council, and submitted to the Legislative Council's Personnel Establishment Subcommittee, the Finance Committee and the Legislative Council General Assembly for deliberation.

I hope to try to discuss it in the Executive Council next week, and the Legislative Council has indicated that it will fully cooperate.

  She also said that with the stabilization of the epidemic, the SAR government can carry out the above-mentioned third handover work.
