China News Service, Taiyuan, May 9 (Reporter Yang Jieying and Lu Qiguo) On May 9, the Yuci District Government Office of Jinzhong City, Shanxi Province announced that the rescue work at the site of the dumping accident of the fly ash warehouse of Wanbao Delong New Building Materials Co., Ltd. , the accident killed 3 people.
At about 7:15 on May 6, a fly ash warehouse of Wanbao Delong New Building Materials Co., Ltd., Guocun, Xiuwen Town, Yuci District, was dumped, causing 7 workers to be trapped.
Relevant leaders and experts from the province, city and district rushed to the scene and commanded the front line as soon as possible, and organized professional teams such as firefighting, emergency response, and public security to carry out rescue.
After 75 hours of intense search and rescue, at 10:35 on May 9, the last trapped person was found with no vital signs.
At this point, the on-site rescue work is over.
A total of 3 people were killed in the accident.
At present, the Yuci District Party Committee and the District Government have set up a special working group to appease the families and deal with the aftermath. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
