Returning home to start a business to help rural revitalization

Post-1980s return to their hometown to be "field nanny"

and provide low-cost full-custody services for agricultural production, realizing large-scale and scientific farming

On March 22, 36-year-old Wang Hucheng, the village party secretary of Gufutu Village, Fenyang City, Luliang City, Shanxi Province, posted a recruitment notice in the circle of friends: "We are recruiting 4 staff members (undergraduate degree or above) and 40 agricultural machinery operators (retired military personnel). , work experience is preferred)..." He also distributed photos of the newly purchased agricultural drones and tractors in the village.

Although this announcement is brief, it involves the interests of thousands of farmers and the future development of Gufutu Village.

Just a few days ago, the city put a sign called "Fumin Agricultural Production Service Town Joint Stock Economic Cooperation Headquarters" on Gufutu Village. The chairman is Wang Hucheng.

This means that this year he not only has to do well in the village, but also the development of agricultural production in the city's 14 townships (streets), which is also his job content.

In 2017, Wang Hucheng, who started his own business abroad, was called back to the village by the old party secretary of Gufutu Village: "I'm going to retire. You are young and capable. Come and run for the election of the village party secretary, and make our village work and economic."

After several entanglements, Wang Hucheng agreed.

He did not expect that the villagers had high hopes for this young candidate. "I was elected without saying hello or saying favors. This is everyone's trust in me, and it is also a responsibility."

"When I touched the 'family property', I found that the village had a lot of financial debts, and there was no money to pay for the expenses needed for work." Wang Hucheng found that although the villagers had land, most of the harvests were not ideal, and there was still a lot of land. Abandoned.

Some villagers go out to work and don’t have time to farm; some don’t know how to choose crops and buy fertilizers; some have little land, and it’s not cost-effective to purchase intelligent agricultural machinery and equipment…

In order to solve this problem, the first major task completed in the village was to set up a cooperative to explore the "three changes" reform of "resources into assets, funds into shares, and farmers into shareholders". The village has organized more than ten cadres from the two committees of the village. , Party members and village representatives held a meeting, and finally finalized the specific rules: "The whole chain will carry out full custody services for agricultural production, improve the output and quality of agricultural products, and strive to achieve a 'double increase' in the income of the village collective and farmers."

Fenyang is the origin of the traditional Chinese wine "Fenjiu". In addition, the local government implements relevant policies of rural revitalization, encouraging and supporting the construction of Fenjiu's high-quality brewing sorghum base.

Combined with the actual situation, the village finally decided to engage in organic brewing sorghum and corn cultivation.

"The farming is managed by the 'field nanny', and you only need to pay more than 200 yuan per mu of land for the trusteeship of seeds, fertilizers and farming. After the harvest, we will harvest and transport it to the home for the farmers. The annual income of the land is taken by the farmers themselves. The land can guarantee the harvest, People can also go out to work and earn money." Wang Hucheng introduced to the reporter of China Youth Daily and China Youth Daily.

The first batch of "nanny fields" in Gufutu Village were all the cadres of the two committees of the village. "Seven village cadres came to undertake all the work of the cooperative and went to the ground to farm."

Everyone shows their abilities, they can farm the fields, they can drive the tractors, and it takes a month and a half to drive.

Compared with the management mode, what is more important is the transformation of the production concept. In the whole process of "cultivation and harvest prevention", the village adopts the whole process of mechanized farming and scientific and refined management.

Taking seed procurement as an example, Wang Hucheng explained to reporters that an average farmer buys a bag of 4,400 corn seeds and spends 60 yuan, while one mu of land can actually sow 3,800 seeds. Retail households have little land, and often the seeds are not used up, which is easy to cause waste; After the trusteeship, the collective purchases in large quantities. It only costs 35 yuan to buy a bag of seeds. A bag of seeds can actually be sown in two parts of one mu, with low cost and good effect.

"In addition, scientific fertilization, pest control, and drone spraying have similar effects. Agricultural trusteeship can not only reduce the cost of farming, but also realize large-scale scientific farming." Wang Hucheng introduced that there will be Fen in 2020. The enterprises in the concentrated development park of Yang Wine Industry approached them to discuss cooperation, hoping to adopt the method of contract farming to grow organic brewing sorghum. "They have also asked many places, and the effect of contiguous planting is the best. We have such conditions to ensure the stability of farmers. increase income".

In the first year of the implementation of agricultural trusteeship, the "zero" breakthrough of the collective economy was achieved.

It is understood that through centralized procurement, mechanized operations, and large-scale management and protection, the land yield per hectare in Gufutu Village increased by 15%-20% last year; The cost savings will increase by about 8,000 yuan/ha.

At present, the agricultural trusteeship service area of the whole village has expanded to 3,800 mu, involving 628 farmers.

In the past three years, the village's collective economic income has increased significantly year by year from 300,000 yuan to 650,000 yuan, and then to 1.02 million yuan, and the per capita net income of villagers has exceeded 22,000 yuan.

With the establishment of the "Fumin Agricultural Production Service Town Joint Stock Economic Cooperation Headquarters" in the village, Wang Hucheng will further expand the scope of their agricultural trusteeship services in the future, and the radiation will drive more farmers to increase their incomes steadily.

With the development of the collective economy of Gufutu Village, the appearance of the village has also undergone great changes: the village collectively runs a kindergarten, the elderly in the village often go to the villagers' square to exercise and perform square dances, and the electronic screen of the village committee plays a looping video. In recent years, photos of the village's old appearance have changed, and the widest "Fumin Road" in the village is also undergoing high-standard leveling and greening.

More importantly, the agricultural trusteeship service business in the village is also further expanding, and professional talents and machinery are constantly being enriched.
