After exploring the coasts of Latin America, then the Weddell Sea in Antarctica,
Tara
has now begun her ascent of the West African coasts, from Namibia to Senegal.
These are the final stages of his twelfth expedition, which began in December 2020, to enable him to better understand the microbiome, the invisible people of the sea.
Several stopovers will take
Tara
to Congo, Gambia and Senegal, before returning to the port of Lorient at the end of the year, after some 70,000 kilometers covered.
