Vegetable, local and reusable, the calabash is a natural alternative to plastic.
It can be used according to its format as a glass, cup, salad bowl or carafe.
But if it is pierced, engraved or pyro-engraved, it also becomes an object of art again, as in the times of the kingdom of Abomey.
Artists also run workshops to learn how to work with it.
