In the accident where a sightseeing boat sank off the Shiretoko Peninsula in Hokkaido, the 1st Regional Coast Guard Headquarters released an image of the appearance of the boat taken by a private specialist with an unmanned submarine on the night of the 8th.

In the accident where the sightseeing boat "KAZU 1 (19 tons)" carrying 26 passengers and crew sank off the coast of the Shiretoko Peninsula on the 23rd of last month, 14 passengers have died so far and 12 are still missing. It remains.

Around the "KAZU 1" that sank to the bottom of the sea at a depth of about 120 meters, a private salvage company has been searching using an unmanned submersible since the 8th, and the 1st Regional Coast Guard Headquarters has been searching for this unmanned submersible on the night of the 8th. We have released two images of the appearance of the ship taken by the aircraft.

Of these, in the image taken from the left front of the ship, you can clearly see that the ship name is written on the port side as "KAZU 1".

The other is a rear view of the ship, and you can see that the sliding door leading to the cabin is open.

According to the Japan Coast Guard Headquarters, no human figure was confirmed around the ship in this search.

The search by the unmanned submersible continued after the 9th, and other work vessels will join in the future, and by the end of this month, the diver will dive into the seabed in a way that can cope with the deep sea called "saturation diving" and inside the ship. I will check if there are any people left behind.
