Li Jiachao first thanked the election committee of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Election Commission (EC) for their voting support, which gave him the opportunity to better serve the country, Hong Kong and citizens in this important position.

He pointed out that in the next five years, Hong Kong will enter a critical period from governance to prosperity, which is full of challenges and opportunities.
