On "Mother's Day" on the 8th, an event was held in Morioka City where children cooked food with their father with a feeling of gratitude and had their mother taste it.

A total of 14 local elementary school students and their fathers participated in the cooking class held at the Tonan Public Hall in Morioka City, and under the guidance of the instructor, they tried to make omelets, seafood gratin, and salads.

Of these, when making gratin, children used a kitchen knife to slice onions and other ingredients with their father's hands, and then fried them in a frying pan with butter and shrimp.

Then, after putting the ingredients mixed with white sauce in a heat-resistant container, cheese and bread crumbs were sprinkled on the surface, and it was baked in the oven for about 10 minutes to complete.

In addition, the children tried to make an omelet with minced meat wrapped in eggs, and wrote "Thank you" with ketchup and expressed their daily gratitude to her mother.

Each of the dishes I cooked was taken home and ate with my mother.

The boy in the 4th grade who participated said, "I would like to show my mother the food I cooked after telling her that I'm always thankful. I'm sure she will be pleased."

A father in his 40s said, "I participated with my son to express his gratitude. I usually don't cook, but I made it with gratitude."
