China News Service, Beijing, May 6 (Reporter Du Yan) Takeaway riders have strong mobility, wide contacts, and high risk of epidemics, and they are included in the key groups of epidemic prevention work.

Beijing issued the "Guidelines for the Prevention and Control of Takeaway Delivery Personnel During the Epidemic Period of the New Crown Epidemic", established a hierarchical management mechanism for takeaway delivery personnel, and required takeaway delivery personnel to "receive as many as possible" to complete the whole process of new crown vaccination, promote the application of the contactless delivery model, and stipulate takeaway delivery. During the distribution process, personnel must wear N95 (or KN95) masks and disposable gloves, and pay attention to maintaining hand hygiene.

Today, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Commerce stated that recently, a delivery worker on the Ele.me platform was infected. The delivery worker developed sore throat, itchy throat and cough on April 24. He took the medicine by himself and did not seek medical treatment. Until the positive test, he received 500 people. Yu Dan, involving 38 restaurants, exposed the platform's inadequate implementation of epidemic prevention and control responsibilities and lax management of riders.

In order to further reduce the risk of infection or spread of the epidemic that may occur in the process of takeaway delivery, and to ensure the safe and orderly delivery of takeaways, Beijing has issued the "Guidelines for the Prevention and Control of Takeaway Delivery Personnel During the Epidemic of the New Crown Epidemic".

The prevention and control guidelines contain a total of 13 specific requirements, mainly including:

The first is to establish a hierarchical management mechanism for food delivery personnel.

For takeaway delivery personnel serving in medium and high-risk areas such as closed control areas, control areas, prevention areas, and temporary control areas, a "whitelist" management mechanism is adopted, and one nucleic acid test and one antigen test are implemented every day; Takeaway delivery personnel who are not on the "white list" are subject to nucleic acid testing every 2 days and antigen testing every other day; takeaway delivery personnel serving non-epidemic areas will be tested once every 5 days.

During the city's large screening period, the nucleic acid detection frequency shall be tested according to the unified requirements of the whole city.

The second is to establish a filing mechanism for food delivery personnel.

Enterprises are not allowed to dispatch orders for delivery personnel who are not included in the filing management and do not meet the requirements for health codes, nucleic acid testing, and antigen testing.

The third is to require enterprises to adopt centralized management of food delivery personnel.

In principle, the scope of activities of takeaway delivery personnel does not exceed the "place of residence-workplace-delivery area", and activities other than delivery work should be minimized. Conditional enterprises are encouraged to provide centralized residence for employees. Takeaway delivery personnel working in a closed loop in the prevention area must Live concentrated.

Fourth, takeaway delivery personnel are required to follow the principle of "accommodating as many as possible" and complete the entire process of new crown vaccination.

Fifth, promote the application of the contactless distribution model.

Takeaway delivery personnel can implement contactless delivery by placing meals in smart food pickup cabinets in the community, storage points in unit buildings, or at the door of residents' homes.

Takeaway delivery personnel serving the sealed control area, control area, prevention area, and temporary control area must adopt contactless delivery.

Sixth, takeaway delivery personnel are required to wear N95 (or KN95) masks and disposable gloves during delivery.

At the same time, takeaway delivery personnel should pay attention to maintaining hand hygiene, and should fully disinfect their hands after each order is delivered.
