In Guinea, after the announcement of legal proceedings against ex-president Alpha Condé, the courts have just banned him from leaving the country.

The Attorney General of Conakry, Alphonse Charles Wright also ordered the seizure of his property until the end of the ongoing investigation.

This decision also concerns the 26 other former leaders prosecuted for assassinations, acts of torture and kidnappings.

The Guinean press has widely echoed these legal measures, hailed by the victims of the deposed regime.

In the Democratic Republic of Congo, a tragedy has reignited the debate on the care of people with mental disorders.

At the end of March, a baby died after being ripped from its mother's arms and thrown to the ground by a woman.

The latter, suffering from a psychiatric illness, had never benefited from the slightest care.

Like her, hundreds of patients across the country do not have access to care.
