It all started with a sale ad on the Le Bon Coin site, posted by a real estate agency and invisible this Friday.

Since then, rumors have been rife about the sale of the fort on the island of Groix (Morbihan), owned by the town of Colombes (Hauts-de-Seine), reports

Actu Hauts-de-Seine

.

Closed since 2019, this former military site dating from the 18th century welcomed children from the town during school holidays.

The activity had ceased after an unfavorable opinion from the fire risk safety commission for establishments open to the public in Lorient (Morbihan) issued in 2018.

Valued at 3 million euros

The town hall of Colombes, via its town planning assistant, said it was "flabbergasted" by the appearance of the online classified ad and denied any intention of selling the fort.

The municipality explained that it had made a second request for an evaluation of the property.

Estimated at 3 million euros but requiring costly work, the site could be the subject of a call for tenders for private investors.
