Police searched for five days in the mountains of Doshi Village, Yamanashi Prefecture, where sports shoes with characteristics matching those of the missing girl were found, but no new clues were found.

On the 23rd of last month, a part of the bone of a person's head was found in the mountains of Doshi Village, Yamanashi Prefecture. Something like that and long-sleeved blackish high-necked clothing were both found in a watered swamp on a steep slope.



According to police, athletic shoes and clothes found on the 4th were missing at a nearby campsite three years ago. At that time, Misaki Ogura, a first grader in elementary school, was wearing them in Narita City, Chiba Prefecture. It means that the characteristics such as color and shape match those of the sneakers.



Police searched around the swamp where shoes were found by about 40 people from around 9 am on the 5th, but there was no new clue and it ended around 4 pm.



The police are proceeding with the appraisal and analysis of what appears to be the bones and clothes of the newly found person, and will continue the search for six days.
