The return of "Corona" to China: the closure of entire neighborhoods and metro stations.. Millions return to work from home!

Chinese authorities have asked millions of residents to return to work from home, after dozens of subway stations were closed after a national holiday due to restrictions imposed to curb the spread of the Corona virus.

And appealed to workers who are forced to go to their offices to drive their cars themselves and avoid gatherings.

The authorities also encouraged, according to "AFP", residents of another neighborhood in Beijing, Tongzhou, to work in their homes, while dozens of subway stations throughout the city remained closed.

Entire neighborhoods in the capital, Beijing, have been closed due to a small number of infections.

Beijing announced the registration of 50 local cases of the virus, yesterday, while stressing that the residents of Chaoyang, the most populous district in Beijing, with 3.5 million people, must work from their homes.

Beijing is taking measures cautiously after the prolonged lockdown in China's largest city, Shanghai, which led to food shortages and public anger.

Shanghai - the epicenter of the latest outbreak - recorded more than 4,600 infections, most of them asymptomatic, on Thursday.

These measures came after an unusually quiet holiday on the occasion of Labor Day.

The capital's authorities have banned eating in restaurants and closed gyms.

It is noteworthy that the Chinese authorities continue to follow the “zero Covid” policy to limit the spread of Corona, which requires imposing closure procedures and mass examinations while fighting the largest outbreak of the epidemic since its early days.
