China News Service, Shanghai, May 4th (Liu Xiao) "Autumn, we have not seen each other since we parted on the 16th. If we haven't seen each other for one day, it's like every three autumns. I wonder if you are well these two days? I hope you see each other well every day and strive for The husband and wife both returned home."

This is the first letter written by Mr. Zhang to his wife, Grandma Sun, in Anting Hospital, Jiading District, Shanghai.

Anting Hospital is one of the temporary designated hospitals for the treatment of new coronary pneumonia in Jiading District. It mainly treats patients with new coronary positive common and basic diseases.

On April 16, Mr. Zhang was diagnosed with the new crown infection and was admitted to Anting Hospital. A few days later, his wife, Grandma Sun, was also admitted.

Due to different admission times, the two were admitted to the sixth and ninth wards of Anting Hospital respectively.

Usually, the old couple share a mobile phone to communicate with the outside world.

When Uncle Zhang was diagnosed and awaiting transfer, Grandma Sun asked him to bring his mobile phone.

Shortly after being admitted to the hospital, Uncle Zhang learned that his wife was also being treated, and he was anxious because he could not contact his wife.

In desperation, Uncle Zhang, who usually doesn't like to "trouble others", found Xiao Juan, a nurse in his ward.

"When he came over, he stood embarrassed for a long time, and then asked me for help to find out which ward his wife was in, and I called him to ask." Xiao Juan said.

Uncle Zhang asked Xiao Juan to bring his mobile phone to his wife, so that the wife could call her daughter.

Previously, Anting Hospital had no precedent for patients to transfer items across regions, and medical staff could not arbitrarily go to other regions.

Xiao Juan and her colleagues helped Uncle Zhang achieve his wish by "relaying" with a cart that transported medicines.

In addition to the mobile phone, there was a letter from Uncle Zhang that was shipped to Grandma Sun.

"There happened to be a piece of paper beside me. I wrote what I wanted to say on it, and asked the medical staff to help me take it there," said Uncle Zhang.

Every word in the letter is the concern of Uncle Zhang for Grandma Sun.

"I wonder if you're okay the next two days? How's the heat? How's your blood sugar? How's your stool?"

"Yesterday, the nucleic acid turned negative. If the nucleic acid test continues to be negative today, then I can be discharged from the hospital. Even if I can be discharged, I will propose to the hospital to be discharged with you and take care of each other."

"Are you asking your doctor to prescribe some cephalosporins or something like that, which might help the inflammation get better faster."

The simple words moved the medical staff, and they acted as messengers between Uncle Zhang and Grandma Sun.

"Later he asked us to deliver the letter, and sometimes he brought a pear or a jar of yogurt, which he saved. Sometimes he brought a book, and he said that his wife likes to read books." Xiao Juan said, when he got his wife Old man Zhang will read it for a long time.

The couple, who have been married for 47 years, are both teachers, and their relationship has always been good.

In the past few days, it is also the longest separation between the old couple.

"Have you run out of diabetes medicine? The doctor here will prescribe it for you appropriately. The old lady in my ward is also diabetic, and the doctor prescribed him insulin." In the daily letters, Mr. Zhang is most concerned about Grandma Sun's illness.

It turned out that Grandma Sun had been suffering from diabetes for many years, and the medicine could not be stopped, and she had to pay special attention to her diet.

With the help of medical staff, the couple encouraged and comforted each other in the ancient way of writing letters, telling about their daily life and their concerns.

"I always hear your nagging at home, and I feel upset. I can't hear your nagging again for half a month here, but I feel a little depressed. It seems that something is missing in life."

In the drawer next to Uncle Zhang's bed, the "love letters" piled up, indicating that they were getting closer and closer to going home together.

"The reunion after the catastrophe is even more precious, and I look forward to this day." Zhang Laobo wrote in the letter.
