Several batches of FFP2 and FFP3 masks from the Alsace protection brand (Made in France) are subject to a recall.

The dedicated Rappel Conso site evokes “non-compliance” and “dangerousness” due to “insufficient filtration with regard to the category” (FFP2 or FFP3).

In both cases, these are boxes of 10 NR masks packed in individual sachets.

They were marketed throughout France from April 1, 2021 to February 3, 2022 for FFP2 (model AP-1601) and from July 1, 2021 to February 3, 2022 for FFP3 (model AP-1602).

“No toxic or harmful substances”

The recall sheet mentions a risk of internal damage and respiratory injuries for the user since these masks would not be effective enough.

"However, the masks do not contain any toxic or harmful substances", it is specified.

It is recommended that you no longer use these masks and return them to the point of sale to request an exchange.
