Aichi Prefecture announced that it has been confirmed that 1127 new people have been infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
A total of 489,899 cases of infection have been confirmed in Aichi Prefecture.
The city of Nagoya also announced that an infected woman in her 90s had died.
The number of infected people who died in Aichi Prefecture is 2023.
