The Egyptian Ministry of Interior revealed the circumstances of what was reported to the Deshna Police Station in the Qena Security Directorate by an Egyptian citizen, in the absence of his son, the driver of a "tuk-tuk" vehicle, from their residence after he left to work on his "tuk-tuk" vehicle. It is located in one of the roads in the center circle with head wounds and the absence of his tuk-tuk.

The ministry said in a statement that a search team was formed with the participation of the Public Security Sector and the Criminal Investigation Department of the Qena Security Directorate, whose efforts resulted in the commission of the incident, 3 people, and after legalizing the procedures, they were targeted and they could be arrested. As a result, they agreed to get rid of the victim, so one of them lured him under the pretext of connecting him to an agricultural area. Upon their arrival, he helped the other defendants by beating him with stones and strangling him until he died, and they seized the tuk-tuk.

The ministry added that the defendants instructed the seized "tuk-tuk" vehicle, and the necessary legal measures were taken, and the Egyptian Public Prosecution took over the investigation.
