  Although the closure and control management measures due to repeated epidemics are still ongoing, on the premise of ensuring that risks are controllable, Shanghai has begun to promote the resumption of work and production of key enterprises in some fields in batches.

Bailian Group, as a livelihood guarantee enterprise, has pressed the "resumption of work and production" accelerator button. Stores should be opened and employees should return as soon as possible, so as to accelerate the orderly resumption of work of its subsidiaries.

  According to a person from Bailian Group, following the completion of offline opening of stores located in the three prevention areas of Chongming, Jinshan and Fengxian, on May 1, the commercial committees of Songjiang, Pudong, Qingpu, Hongkou and other districts and the streets and towns to which the stores belonged were opened. With the support, another 4 Century Lianhua and 5 Lianhua supermarket stores have resumed offline business.

The market resumption rate of the Group's No. 1 pharmaceutical store also exceeded half.

  As of May 2, Bailian's supermarkets and pharmaceutical stores have resumed work in 1,000 stores. Among them, the market resumption rate of supermarkets such as Century Lianhua and Hualian Jimaisheng is 100%.

In addition, convenience stores such as Yike and Kuaike under the group are also reopening in an orderly manner.

  Walmart Shanghai Pudong Airport Store, Lingyun Store, Baoshan Yanghang Aquatic Product Store, and Songjiang Songhui Middle Road Store have resumed offline operations one after another. Customers can shop at the store with the relevant epidemic prevention certificates required by the government.

Wal-Mart's Sam's Club stores in Pudong Gaoke West Road and Qingpu have launched offline business by appointment, and members can make an appointment in advance and bring relevant government certificates to the store to shop.

  It is also reported that from May 2, Carrefour’s 9 stores in Shanghai Putuo, Xuhui, Qingpu, Songjiang, Pudong and other districts have restarted offline business.

It is expected that by May 8, 80% of Carrefour Shanghai stores will resume offline business.

Carrefour said that its other stores in Shanghai are also actively preparing for offline reopening in terms of safety and epidemic prevention, commodity stocking and other aspects.
