Fukuoka Prefecture announced on the 2nd that it was confirmed that 1145 new people were infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
It has fallen below the same day of the previous week for five consecutive days.
The breakdown is 374 in Fukuoka City, 196 in Kitakyushu City, and 42 in Kurume City.
A total of 373,364 people have been confirmed to be infected in Fukuoka Prefecture.
