People who had evacuated from Ukraine via neighboring countries and Poland after the military invasion of Russia arrived at Narita Airport and were greeted by supporters.

At Narita Airport, direct flights from Poland, where the government rents some seats, arrive every Saturday to help Ukrainians travel to Japan.

On the 30th, in addition to 20 people including young children who received government support, evacuees were on board and were greeted by family members and supporters in the arrival lobby.

Of these, Natalia Sirko (14), who lived in the capital, Kieu, was evacuated to Japan with her mother and sister with the support of a group in Tokyo.

Natalia said, "In Kieu, sirens sounded almost every day, and the sound of bombs couldn't sleep violently. It's strange that this will happen in the 21st century. I want you to finish early. I like manga and can evacuate to Japan. I'm very happy. "
