China-Singapore Entertainment, Beijing, April 29th. Recently, the "Seminar on Meng Xianming's novel "First October" was successfully held in Beijing and Zhengzhou in the form of online conferences.
According to reports, "The First October" is a masterpiece written by famous writer Meng Xianming for five years. It will be published by Elephant Publishing House in January 2022.
The novel tells an anti-specialist story that happened at the time of the founding of New China.

The novel is divided into two parts, the upper part and the lower part, with a total of more than 860,000 words. It is written in the chapter-return style, and the narrative angle is novel and unique.
There are 36 chapters in the whole book, including 36 riddles. The riddles and stories are closely connected, which enriches the readers' reading experience.
It is understood that Meng Xianming has authored more than ten literary works, more than thirty film and television scripts, and three monographs.
At the symposium, Meng Xianming also shared his creative experience in "The First October".
"The writing is very smooth, I often forget to eat, and I wrote the first draft in more than half a year." Meng Xianming said, "In the early spring of 2020, I started to revise, and I revised it over and over again, very relaxed and happy. Today This is the fifth draft published."
He shared his view of writing, "Writing is what I want to write, and no one asks me. No one asks but I have requirements for myself: I don't repeat myself, I don't repeat myself in content, and I try not to repeat myself in form."
He said that literature is a solemn game, and it will be full of pleasure because of the pursuit of superiority and high level.
