Despite audiences which have seen a spectacular increase over the past year, Jamy Gourmaud's daily educational, scientific and historical program on France 5 "C Jamy" will end definitively at the end of June, according to information from our colleagues at specialized information site "Puremédias".

C Jamy

will not return after the summer.

This 26-minute magazine broadcast daily at 4:55 p.m. on France 5 has been hosted by Jamy Gourmaud for a little over a year.

This program is mainly aimed at young people: it tackles topical subjects in a fun way, mixing history, science, etymology and DIY tutorials.

According to information from our colleagues from the specialized information site

Puremédias

C Jamy

will stop definitively at the end of June.

+30% audiences in less than a year

Gaël Leblang, one of the producers of the show spoke to our colleagues and, according to him, this decision has nothing to do with the number of viewers brought together by the show.

It must be said that

C Jamy

has seen a 30% increase in audience since its launch, less than a year ago.

According to Mediametrie, this program has attracted an average of 280,000 viewers since the start of the school year, i.e. 3.7% market share.

Stopping the program would more simply be the result of arbitration on the part of France 5. If the program

C Jamy

will stop soon, Jamy Gourmaud will continue to co-host with Eglantine Eméyé

Le monde de Jamy

, a program broadcast as a bonus time on France 3 since 2014.
