[Commentary] In order to help Hong Kong fight the fifth wave of the new crown epidemic, on March 16, members of the mainland medical team to aid Hong Kong, Yang Yanqing and Yu Liting, entered Hong Kong with the third batch of medical teams to assist Hong Kong.

After the team members arrived in Hong Kong, after training and on-site observation, they officially entered the New Crown Treatment Center of the AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong on March 21. The team members quickly adapted to the new environment and cooperated with Hong Kong medical staff to fight the epidemic and exchange technologies.

For the admitted elderly, the medical team has set up specialized nursing teams such as wound stoma, nutritional support, and rehabilitation exercises to take good care of the patients and reduce severe illness and mortality.

When it comes to the content of her work, Yang Yanqing said that what impressed her the most was the mother-in-law she cared for on the fourth day of her visit to the New Crown Treatment Center at the AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong.

I met this mother-in-law in the first week of working at the New Crown Treatment Center of AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong. When I arrived at noon that day, she hadn't had lunch yet. I saw that she was a little depressed and sat down. There was no thought of eating in bed, and then I went over to feed her and chatted with her about daily life, and then I shortened the distance between me and her while asking for warmth.

[Commentary] Under the careful care and company of Yang Yanqing, Granny Gao gradually opened her heart to chat with Yang Yanqing.

Granny Gao told Yang Yanqing that she came to Hong Kong in 1984 and that her daughter was born in the obstetrics and gynecology department of Yang Yanqing's hospital, who lived in 33 beds at the time.

Some time ago, her daughter was also diagnosed with new coronary pneumonia, and there was no way to take care of her, so she felt a little lost.

This time, she came to the New Crown Treatment Center of AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong to be hospitalized, and her daughter couldn't take care of her, so she was disappointed at first, and then she saw us feeding her food so carefully, and then she was also very moved, saying that we treated her like a biological daughter Very well looked after.

After chatting and chatting, I found that she also cared about me. She later asked me if you were married, and how was your family?

[Explanation] Sitting next to Yang Yanqing is Yu Liting, the nursing team leader and chief nurse of the Cardiovascular Disease Research Institute of Guangdong Provincial People's Hospital.

She said that there are many elders like Granny Gao, many of whom have multiple underlying diseases and cannot take care of themselves. In the past month or so, the nurses and girls in the group she led have changed their minds with more patience and care. The safe discharge of the patients has also won their deep feelings.

She told reporters that this was the first time she had been away from home for such a long time since she went to college, and it was also the first time she did not spend her birthday with her mother.

Because it's actually my mother's birthday these few days, so it's the first time I haven't celebrated her birthday, so I'm actually sorry, because my mother has been calling me these days, so I haven't shown it, but in fact, my heart is I still feel a little guilty about her. I hope we can overcome the epidemic as soon as possible, and I can go back to accompany her as soon as possible.

[Commentary] Yu Liting said that her parents' support and understanding gave her great motivation. As a medical worker, she knows her mission and responsibility well. She hopes that through this support operation in Hong Kong, Hong Kong compatriots will feel the compatriotism of blood thicker than water.

My parents also support me, because they also know that as a medical worker, this is actually a mission. I think that as our compatriots in the mainland, to support our compatriots in Hong Kong is also a blood thicker than water, and then the friendship of our family Here, I hope that our work here can make Hong Kong compatriots feel the support and concern of people from all over the mainland for them.
