Superstar in his country, as internationally: few artists can boast of having a record as brilliant as that of Oumou Sangaré.

The Malian singer will release tomorrow, Friday April 29, her new album

Timbuktu

(World circuit).

Directed by Pascal Danaë and Nicolas Quéré, it is perhaps the most accomplished record of a committed artist, who calls on Malians to "

come together

" in the face of the war that is ravaging the country and the abuses against civilians.

Oumou Sangaré will perform in Paris on May 15 and in London on June 15.
