  Zhou Ming, 49, joined the Hong Kong Police Force in 1995 as an inspector.

He spends most of his time working on criminal investigations and intelligence gathering at the district, district, command and headquarters levels.

During this period, he has accumulated a wealth of work experience in criminal investigation, criminal intelligence and policy formulation.

In 2010, Zhou Ming was promoted to superintendent and served in the criminal headquarters.

He was then seconded to the Interpol Secretariat in Lyon, France, from 2012 to 2013 as Director of Criminal Intelligence.

  In 2013, Zhou Ming was promoted to senior superintendent and became deputy commander of the Criminal Intelligence Division.

He was further promoted to Chief Superintendent in 2016 and became Head of the Criminal Intelligence Division.

In 2017, Zhou Ming served as the District Commander of the Yau Tsim Police District, and until early 2019, he was appointed as the Deputy Commander of the Kowloon West District.

In February 2022, Zhou Ming was promoted to Assistant Director and took charge of the Operations Department and the Personnel Department successively.

  Zhou Ming was promoted to Senior Assistant Commissioner of Police in January 2021 to serve as Commissioner of Personnel and Training.
