War in Ukraine: the Greens and the question of German pacifism

Russia's aggression in Ukraine is forcing some countries to reverse course on defense issues.

Thirty years after the fall of the Wall, Germany is faced with this question.

The country wishes to reinvest in its defence, in particular through an envelope of 100 billion euros and an increase in its military budget, in accordance with NATO criteria.

In government, the Greens support this policy.

An attitude that does not fail to question the activists of this historically pacifist party.
