The Play Safe association has hit hard to raise awareness of the dangers of GHB, also known as the “date rape drug”.
It has indeed created “dummy sites” for the sale of GBL, a molecule present in this drug, reports

An online awareness campaign
This operation started after a more than worrying report on the search engines.
"When we searched at the time for HA GBL, there was a related search that appeared in Google which was: 'how to rape a woman?'
“, explained to the radio Michel Mau, president of Play Safe.
GHB can be bought relatively easily online, which is why the structure has chosen to wage its fight on the Internet by imagining these fake sales sites.
"This is not a shopping site"
Potential buyers can add GHB to their cart before filling in some of their details.
But at the time of finalizing their purchase, they come across the following message: "This is not a shopping site" with, then, a list of the risks and penalties incurred.
In total, the association has recorded more than 10,000 order attempts in two years.
Another site launched by the association a year ago, and offering other synthetic drugs that alter consciousness, has unfortunately been spectacularly successful.
It has already been visited twice as much as the one dedicated to GHB.
