Two cops ignore a burglary to complete a Pokemon hunt

Two Los Angeles Police Department officers have been denied a new court review after being fired for ignoring an ongoing robbery to capture Snorlax in Pokemon Go.

Earlier this year, it was reported that officers Luis Lozano and Eric Mitchell attempted to capture Snorlax in a game of Pokemon Go despite receiving a radio call that Macy's store had been robbed and the cops requested backup.

According to Dextro.

The two policemen claimed that they never heard the backup request, which led to a review of their car's DVD recording.

According to court documents, an officer alerted his partner that Snorlax "just showed up" and for 20 minutes, the two discussed Pokemon as they drove to different locations to hunt the creatures on their phones.

Over the radio, the two shared their struggles with capturing some hypothetical creatures.

According to Bloomberg Law, the two failed to convince the California Supreme Court that the recordings had been properly used in the Los Angeles Police Department's decision to terminate their employment.
