Dr. Abdul Kafi said that the Qur’anic stories are a monitoring of the psychological, social and historical reality of man in this universe, and he referred to the human feelings in Surat Yusuf, in the envy of Joseph’s brothers and his father’s love for him, and in the trials that befell him, then his acquittal of the charges for which he was imprisoned and asylum To him to explain the king’s dream, and the events that followed that showed that if a person is humiliated in his worship of God - the Mighty and Sublime - then he cherishes him and bestows upon him his blessings.

He noted that the wisdom of repeating the biography of prophets without others in the Holy Qur’an, such as the stories of the prophets Joseph and Moses - peace be upon her - is due to the fact that all the details of these stories pertain to the remaining Islamic reality until God inherits the earth and those on it.

As for the prophets whose stories were not mentioned in detail, Dr. Abdel Kafi suggested that this was likely because their reality and approach differed and did not affect the lives of the peoples that followed them.

And Dr. Abdul Kafi - in his talk to an episode of “Shari’a and Life in Ramadan” program (24/4/2022), explained the wisdom of the story that was mentioned in Surat Al-Kahf, which is the story of the boys who believed in their Lord and fled with their religion from the unjust ruler to a narrow and dark cave with no food .

The wisdom of this story is that the narrowness is not in the place, and the spaciousness is not in the palaces, but in the chests.

He pointed out that God - Glory be to Him and Almighty - decreed that the Companions of the Cave should remain asleep in their cave for 300 years, and they increased over that for 9 years, and in that is divine wisdom.

He concluded that Surat Al-Kahf provides many indications, including fleeing the religion of God and reliance on God.

The story of Moses and the righteous servant

Dr. Abdul Kafi referred to the story of Moses and the righteous servant, and said that it shows the issue of humility and lack of arrogance, regardless of the position of the person.

One of the lessons that the story provides is that people need scholars who will enlighten them on their way.

The story of Luqman and his son also - according to the guest of the "Shari'a and Life in Ramadan" program - carried a set of meanings and connotations, foremost of which is love and friendship in the relationship of a father to his son, and that Luqman was a role model for his son as he advised him, and that advice had its own way and style.

It is noteworthy that the Islamic preacher, Dr. Omar Abdel Kafi, had reviewed in a previous episode the importance of Quranic stories, its implications and wisdom.
