The photos documented the citizens’ demand for a meat store owned by a butcher in the city of Arish in North Sinai, where he sells a kilo of fresh meat at a price of one pound for citizens, and every citizen has the right to obtain only one kilo, which aroused the astonishment of some and the concern of others for fear that the offered meat is not valid. for human consumption.

The quantities of meat offered for sale ran out in just two hours, while the butcher pledged to re-offer other meat at the same price within days.

The butcher, Abu Rayan, explained the reason behind this, pointing out that a businessman in the city donated a calf to slaughter and distribute its meat to the poor and simple, and to prevent them from being embarrassed and avoiding embarrassment, he decided to sell the meat at a price of one pound per kilo.
