Someone set himself on fire in front of the US Supreme Court yesterday;
As a result, he was evacuated by helicopter, according to a spokeswoman for the Supreme Court.
The spokeswoman indicated in a statement that at approximately 18:30 local time, a person went to the square in front of the Supreme Court building and set himself on fire.
She added that a medical helicopter landed in the square and transported the person to a local hospital, France 24 reported today.
The Supreme Court confirmed that the incident was not considered a threat to public safety.
