China News Service, Hulunbuir, April 22nd, title: Prairie girls return to school to teach: Root the seeds of love in the depths of children's hearts

  Author Zhang Wei Zhang Dongyang

With no salary and no administrative level, the grassland girl Xin Jile became a front-line teacher from a teaching and research staff, and decided to return to the school to teach for 3 years.

"I want to plant the seeds of love deep in the hearts of children."

"Born in the grasslands, growing up in the grasslands, my dream has always been to become a teacher." In 1988, Xinjile was born into an ordinary family in the original Aershansumu, Xinbarhuyou Banner, Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. In her heart , teaching is a profession full of love.

The New Barhu Right Banner is located in the southwest of Hulunbuir City, bordering Mongolia in the west and south, and Russia in the north.

The total population of the flag is about 38,000, and the Mongolian population is nearly 30,000, accounting for 83% of the total population of the flag.

"People here generally speak Mongolian." Living in the depths of the grasslands, Xinjile only came into contact with Chinese in the third grade of elementary school.

From the beginning of not being able to speak or write, to being able to fully understand and express, Xinjile said: "I have always insisted on studying every day to improve my Chinese."

In 2007, Xinjile was admitted to the History Department of Chifeng College as she wished, and obtained the teacher qualification certificate during the university; in 2012, she was admitted to the postgraduate of the School of History and Culture of Inner Mongolia Normal University with the first place in the college.

"I know very well that the educational resources in my hometown are limited, so when I graduated as a graduate student, I decided to apply for an educational position in my hometown, and was accepted. I started my educational career as I wished." Xinjile's eyes showed firmness.

In 2014, Xinjile joined the No. 1 Middle School of New Barhu Right Banner and became a history teacher; in early 2021, she was transferred to the New Barhu Right Banner Education and Training Center as a teaching and researcher.

During a survey, Xinjile found that the teachers in the history course of the unified textbook for the third grade of the New Barhuyou Banner No. 1 Middle School were poor, and they took the initiative to apply for returning to the school to teach for 3 years.

"Let's think about it, what are the reasons for our victory to resist US aggression and aid Korea?"

"This is a just war against aggression."

  "Volunteers fought bravely."

  ...

Xinjile's history class is always lively, with multimedia teaching, problem discussions, storytelling, and teacher comments and summaries... "Try to give every student a chance to speak in class, and cultivate their national common language expression ability and comprehensive analysis ability. ."

You asked and I answered, a 45-minute history class was spent unknowingly in a cheerful atmosphere. Not only did the students no longer feel bored about the history class, but they also gained confidence in their ability to express in Chinese.

Arya, who always felt that class time went by too quickly, said: "It's like listening to a bedtime story. It's very memorable."

"The teacher's class was very lively, and it made us understand how hard-won a happy life is today." Anqi Wu shared her classroom experience with the reporter in fluent Chinese.

In Xinjile's view, passion alone is far from enough to support teaching, and it is necessary to pay attention to education and teaching methods to better stimulate children's learning interest, thirst for knowledge and critical thinking.

In addition to daily teaching, Xinjile is also a mentor to young teachers in the school.

Tai Saren, the deputy principal of the No. 1 Middle School of New Barhu Right Banner, told reporters that last year the school recruited several special post teachers for the history course with unified textbooks. The deficiencies in the process are recorded, and business exchanges with the teachers will be conducted after the class, which makes the new teachers make rapid progress.

Ao Rigala, a young teacher, came to the grassland to teach after graduating from college in 2021. At the beginning of her teaching career, she met the mentor Xinjile. He said that it was his luck.

"Mr. Xinjile not only guided me in business, but also taught me to treat my students with heart."

Since the teaching support in March 2021 to the present, Xinjile has witnessed the students' love for history lessons, and the grassland has also witnessed the children's love rooted in the depths of their hearts.

"In the next step, I will innovate the teaching method around improving the general language ability of the grassland children, and give the students the initiative in the classroom." Xinjile is full of hopes for the grassland children.
