Kuwait... Postal parcel bombed with "chemical anesthetic liquid"

The men of the General Administration of Customs in Kuwait thwarted the entry of liquid narcotic chemical, in a unique smuggling operation through a postal parcel.

In a statement published by Al-Rai newspaper, the administration stated that "the customs inspectors were suspicious of the postal parcel after it arrived from a European country, and by checking it, three plastic bottles were found, which were found to contain liquid chemical narcotic."

"In coordination and follow-up by the Customs Search and Investigation Office (Air Customs) with the Narcotics Control Department at the Ministry of Interior, the suspect responsible for the expulsion was arrested, and he was referred to the competent authorities with the seizures," she added.

The Director-General of the General Administration of Customs, Suleiman Al-Fahad, praised the efforts of the customs officers at the customs ports, stressing that they are the first line of defense against anyone who wants harm to the country.

He warned everyone who was tempted to smuggle narcotic drugs and prohibited goods in all their forms and types into the country, in order to avoid legal accountability and take customs procedures.
