Street "magic doctor" slipped into the public account

The deception "ancient recipe" changes the soup but not the medicine

According to CCTV, in April 2021, Ms. Tao from Nantong, Jiangsu saw an article titled "40 years of medical practice, teach you a trick to restore vision" on a WeChat public account.

It is claimed that there is such a medicine. After taking it by middle-aged and elderly people, the eye poison can be removed in 3 days, the vision returns to normal in 30 days, and the eye disease can be eradicated in 60 days; You can read and read newspapers even at the age of 80 and 90.

But after multiple courses of treatment, other than being fooled to continue to increase the amount or buy new drugs, Ms. Tao's eye disease did not improve.

The magic doctor is not magic, the magic medicine is useless, why?

Because there is no magic doctor in the world, and there is no magic medicine that cures all diseases.

In fact, the magician is played by a salesperson. Some of the magic drugs are repackaged after the suspects purchased them from upstream—some are so-called health care products, and some are "three-nothing" products that they don't even know why.

In order to trap Ms. Tao, the liar also dragged Ms. Tao into the WeChat group.

"Ms. Sun, who suffered from glaucoma, recovered after two courses of treatment, and Ms. Zhang, who suffered from cataracts for two years, regained her light after three courses of treatment." Such "good news of recovery" will appear in the group every day, and even the "inventor" of the drug even gave instructions in person , Ms. Tao believed it even more.

In a word, what consumers encounter is a group of liars with no bottom line, and what they see is a complete scam.

From wandering the streets and alleys for sale along the streets, to posting small advertisements, to overwhelming TV advertisements, to taking the express train of the Internet and selling them through public accounts.

The genius doctor in the official account has more realistic packaging, more concealed methods, and stronger deception.

The scammers have been escalating, and unfortunately, the discrimination of many patients is still in place.

Some people go to the doctor indiscriminately when they are sick, and take the luck of small medicine to cure a serious illness, and feel that it is a big deal to throw a few hundred yuan for nothing.

But China's population base is large, and the attempts of very few people are enough to fatten the liars.

According to the police, more than 100,000 people across the country were caught in this eyedrop scam alone, and the total amount involved reached 300 million yuan.

The patient's mood is understandable, but we must keep our eyes open and abandon the fluke mentality.

Not to mention that there is no magic medicine, even if there is, do you still need to go to the public account to promote it?

It's really nothing to waste some money, the scary thing is that the illness is delayed, and there is no time to regret it.

Among the patients who were fooled with Ms. Tao, some delayed the best treatment time.

It must be reminded that such a magical medicine is far more than an eyedrop.

Many old people’s public accounts and articles reposted in their circle of friends have the content of “ancestral recipes”.

Most of the old people are convinced, and I don't know how many people have been deceived.

Medicine is about health and life, and public accounts should not be a place to hide filth.

The official account operation platform should implement the main responsibility and strengthen the content review.

More importantly, the regulatory authorities and law enforcement agencies should not wait for patients to report, but should innovate the regulatory model, find out those liars in the public account who use the banner of magic doctors, and expose those magic drugs that cure all diseases.

Of course, there is no such thing as a miracle cure for the stubborn ailments in the official account. We can only grasp the development of the disease by monitoring the pulse in real time, issue targeted prescriptions for different lesions, and continue to administer medicines to control the development of the disease. Insist on eradicating the root of the disease.
