Commenting on Muhammad Ramadan's announcement, the Jordanian Minister of Culture: We did not contract with him to revive the Independence Day event!

Jordanian Minister of Culture Haifa Al-Najjar confirmed that the ministry did not contract with any Arab artist to revive any event on the occasion of Independence Day.

Al-Najjar told the Jordanian "Ammon" news site on Friday that the concert announced by an Arab artist had nothing to do with the Ministry of Culture from near or far.

In turn, the captain of the Jordanian Artists Syndicate, Muhammad Al-Abadi, confirmed that until this moment, the union has not received any request regarding holding a concert for the Egyptian artist Muhammad Ramadan in Jordan.

Al-Abadi indicated that it is not possible to hold a concert for any artist in Jordan without obtaining the approval of the union.

The Egyptian artist, Mohamed Ramadan, had posted on his personal Facebook page that he would perform a party in conjunction with Independence Day, and "the Jordanian people and the Jordanian government will meet!"
